Justin Herbert continues to garner awards.
Herbert was chosen because the NFL’s Participant of the Week for quarterbacks for Week 11, the league introduced Wednesday afternoon.
The Los Angeles Chargers’ rookie quarterback was chosen for the award, the “FedEx NFL Air Participant of the Week” after throwing for a career-high 366 yards and three touchdowns through the Chargers’ 34-28 win over the New York Jets in Week 11, snapping a three-game shedding streak.
Herbert completed forward of Houston Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson and Minnesota Vikings’ quarterback Kirk Cousins within the voting. Herbert has gained the NFL’s Rookie of the Week six instances through the 2020 season.
Herbert has thrown for two,699 yards with 22 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 9 video games for the Chargers.
