PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sandra Abstreiter (Freising, Germany) of the Windfall School girls’s hockey workforce was named Hockey East Defensive Participant of the Week on Monday, Nov. 23. Within the first two video games on the season versus the UConn Huskies, Abstreiter made 54 saves. In whole, Abstreiter stopped 54 out of the 57 photographs she confronted for a 1.44 goals-against common and a .947 save share.
Abstreiter and the Friars return to motion on Nov. 27 as they hit the highway face-off in opposition to Northeastern to start a home-and-home collection.
